vswho asked: describe yourself in 3 songs:
So after about 3 days of pondering this question, I think I have the songs that describe me. Due to the nature of my personality though, these songs might change by next year, next week…hell the morning. But as of right now:
Yo Gotti “5 Star chick“…
LMAO I kid I Kid. For real though.
Adele “Hometown Glory”: Because of my military background I consider myself a citizen of the world. Over the past year I have become so connected to my generation and understanding us and our dynamics in a way I once did not. Also, I’m form the south and proud. Very proud.
Lauryn Hill “Mystery of Iniquity”. I am a conspiracy theorist. This system is fucked up. I am a real dreamer. I see things for both what they can be and what they are. Plus this song gave birth to one of my favorite Kanye joints. So it covers a few aspects of me.
Outkast “Liberation”: You just have to listen to this song. Particularly Cee-Los part and Erykah’s. Re:Cee-Lo’s verse- Im a strong woman but sometimes being strong gets exhausting. And re: Erykah’s part, reminds me of the industry around me. I refuse having people around me, I can sniff that out neither do I don’t want to be the artificial person to others or myself.
And honorable mention Fleetwood Mac “Rhiannon”: I am a quintessential example of a structured gypsy. I move with purpose driven by passion and intuition.
