Join us for the only public New York City screening of Peace Unveiled before its national broadcast debut. Peace Unveiled is part of Women, War & Peace, a bold new five-part PBS mini-series, focusing on the roles of women in peace and conflict. Following the film will be a panel discussion. 

Moderated by: Sheryl WuDunn, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and co-author of Half the Sky.

Please join us for a pre-screening reception and photo exhibit of Afghanistan with Andrea Bruce, four time winner of Photographer of the Year, as well as other internationally recognized photojournalists.

About the film: When the surge of U.S. troops was announced in late 2009, women in Afghanistan knew that the ground was being laid for peace talks with the Taliban. Peace Unveiled follows three women in Afghanistan who are risking their lives to make sure that women have a seat at the negotiating table. The Women, War, & Peace series will air on Tuesday evenings from October 11^th to November 8^th on PBS.
